Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Development Manager to join our innovative development management team. In this role, you will support project planning, coordination, and execution across multiple commercial and residential construction projects small and large. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. This position offers an opportunity to work on both small tenant improvement jobs an large scale residential developments. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and possesses a strong foundation in construction management principles and software tools. Responsibilities Develop and maintaining milestone project schedules. Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets in Excel. Negotiate sub-contractor and vendor bids for tenant improvement projects. Source sub-contractors for work. Coordinate permits and zoning approvals. Obtain utility services for raw land. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to monitor progress, manage schedules, and resolve issues promptly. Contribute to budget tracking, cost control measures, and financial reporting to keep projects within financial targets. Assist in managing contracts, change orders, and procurement processes using Procore, Prolog, and other contract management tools. Facilitate communication between project stakeholders through clear managerial communication and regular progress updates. Help coordinate construction schedules with project managers to optimize resource allocation and minimize delays. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or a related field within commercial or residential projects. Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, OSHAsafety regulations, and construction scheduling tools. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Excellent management skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with contracts administration, budgeting, quality control processes, and project scheduling techniques. Effective communication skills for managing teams and liaising with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 15.0 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: Hybrid remote in Denver, CO 80202
