Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to join our procurement team. In this role, you will play a vital part in sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless procurement processes that support our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help optimize supply chain efficiency, control costs, and uphold our commitment to sustainability through strategic sourcing and effective negotiation. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs aligned with manufacturing schedules and project goals Source suppliers and vendors using ERP systems such as NAV, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness Manage vendor relationships to facilitate timely delivery, resolve issues, and foster long-term partnerships Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on pricing, delivery, quality, and compliance standards Support the negotiation of purchase agreements, terms, and pricing to maximize value for the company Monitor inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to prevent shortages or excess stock Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit compliance and reporting purposes Experience Previous experience in purchasing or procurement within manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred Familiarity with ERP systems such as NAV or similar platforms is highly desirable Knowledge of supply chain management principles including vendor management, sourcing strategies, and inventory control Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships Understanding of pricing strategies, procurement processes, and MRP systems to support manufacturing operations Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to advancing sustainable energy solutions!
