Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Assembler specializing in Inventory and Shipping! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately assembling components, managing inventory, and preparing products for shipment with precision and efficiency. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills directly contribute to the seamless flow of production and delivery. Responsibilities Assemble PCB components using hand tools and specialized industrial equipment in accordance with blueprints and schematics. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing instructions, and production documents to ensure accurate assembly processes. Measure parts and assemblies utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math calculations to maintain tight tolerances. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications. Handle materials manually, ensuring safe lifting practices while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Interpret schematics and blueprints for mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned and assembled. Prepare products for inventory storage or shipment by packaging accurately, labeling properly, and documenting movement in inventory systems. Skills Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and other precision measurement tools. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Mechanical knowledge including assembly techniques, machining processes, soldering skills, and use of shop math. Experience with manual handling techniques and safety protocols involving personal protective equipment (PPE). Familiarity with manufacturing environments, including the use of power tools, pneumatic tools, hand tools, and specialized industrial tools. Ability to interpret technical documentation such as assembly instructions or production documents accurately. Knowledge of mechanical blueprint interpretation combined with a solid foundation in mechanical assembly practices to ensure quality output. Required Skills and Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or specialized electronics training is often preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with SMT machinery, understanding of electronic components, and ability to read blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and schematics. Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination for handling miniature components and performing detailed work. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment. Experience: Previous experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing is highly desirable.
