AR/AP Manager - Logistics/Trucking
Eastern DrayageAP/AR Manager (Logistics/Trucking) Montvale, NJ or Newark, NJ or Boca Raton, FL | Full-time, in-office | Reports to the Controller Eastern Drayage is one of the leading drayage providers nationwide. We’re hiring an AP/AR Manager to run our accounts payable and accounts receivable team, a high-volume operation reporting to the Controller. What You’ll Do Manage a small AP/AR team and ensure all invoice processing is accurate, on time, and follows our billing SOPs Ensure the team bills accessorials (chassis, storage, and similar) correctly, and step in on the complicated ones Handle escalations: billing disputes, problem accounts, and collections that have stalled Oversee payables, including driver settlements, owner-operator pay, and payments to carriers we broker freight to, and resolve the discrepancies the team can’t Be the point of contact for drivers, vendors, and customers when an issue goes above the team Keep receivables and payables current, and report status clearly to the Controller Set up and improve processes as needed Who You Are 2+ years in logistics or trucking accounting, with drayage or container experience; you understand container billing and accessorial charges Experience managing a team preferred Comfortable in a high-volume invoicing operation Strong communicator: calm on escalations, firm on collections Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): How many years of accounting experience do you have in logistics or trucking, specifically with drayage or container billing?
