Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver, where you will be the vital link between our company and our valued customers. Duties Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations with punctuality and care Unload appliances from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units according to manufacturer specifications and schematics Conduct on-site setup, assembly, electrical connections, and mechanical adjustments for optimal appliance performance Troubleshoot installation issues using technical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical knowledge; perform minor repairs or escalate complex repairs to field service technicians Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each interaction Complete detailed documentation of deliveries, installations, repairs, and service reports accurately and promptly Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for electrical and mechanical systems Previous experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record using box trucks or similar vehicles Knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC components is highly desirable Field service experience involving appliance installation or service technician work is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic electrical experience for making safe connections during appliance setup Ability to assemble appliances efficiently using hand tools and assembly instructions Familiarity with electrical codes, safety protocols, and equipment repair techniques This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to combine driving with technical expertise in a supportive environment that values safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer experiences.
