Appliance Delivery Driver / Helper

Overview As an Appliance Delivery Driver / Helper, you’ll help customers get their appliances safely from the delivery vehicle into their homes and ready for use. You’ll work as part of a field service team, operate a box truck or other company vehicle as assigned, and provide clear, courteous customer service throughout each delivery. The role may also involve appliance installation, assembly, and basic troubleshooting. Responsibilities Load, secure, transport, and unload appliances while following safe handling practices Assist with in-home appliance installation and assembly; use hand tools and power tools as needed Follow schematics and installation instructions, and use ladders safely when the work requires it Support equipment troubleshooting and basic appliance repair, including tasks involving refrigeration, electrical work, or plumbing when qualified and authorized Communicate with customers about delivery and installation steps, and keep the work area orderly Your impact: Careful delivery and installation help customers use their appliances safely and confidently. Experience Experience driving a box truck or operating a company vehicle is helpful; a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record may be required Mechanical knowledge and experience with appliance installation, appliance repair, or field service are preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, electrical work, plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment troubleshooting is an asset Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), schematics, ladder use, or assembly is helpful Bring a customer-focused attitude, safe work habits, and the ability to work effectively with a delivery partner Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day Benefits: Flexible schedule Fuel card Paid training Professional development assistance Tools provided Work Location: In person
