Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Appliance Delivery Driver role based in Richmond, VA. The Appliance Delivery Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading appliances to customer locations, following all company safety procedures and traffic regulations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting appliances and vehicles before and after deliveries, securing items for transit, and carefully moving appliances into homes or businesses using appropriate equipment. The role involves interacting with customers, confirming delivery details, answering basic product questions, and obtaining signatures or delivery confirmations. The driver may also assist with basic installation support, coordinate with warehouse staff, and maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and a client-focused mindset. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (Forklift Operation experience preferred). Experience providing Training or mentoring on safety procedures, loading practices, or delivery protocols is beneficial. Background in Sales or upselling services, such as installation packages or extended service options, is a plus. Experience in Food & Beverage or other fast-paced service environments demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and time management. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet company driving standards. Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy appliances with proper equipment and techniques. Basic knowledge of appliance handling and safety, with willingness to learn company-specific procedures. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Pay: $150.00 per day Experience: Commercial driving: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
