Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our team! Duties Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver appliances to customer locations promptly and efficiently. Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more, following manufacturer guidelines and schematics. Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site using electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and refrigeration knowledge to ensure proper operation. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble and install appliances accurately. Conduct thorough inspections of appliances post-installation to verify proper functioning and address any issues immediately. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on appliances as needed, utilizing skills in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting. Requirements Proven experience with appliance installation, repair, or field service work in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience and familiarity with schematics and ladder diagrams. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of refrigeration systems, plumbing connections, electrical wiring, and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Experience with delivery driver responsibilities including safe vehicle operation of box trucks or similar vehicles. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices for household appliances. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex appliance systems. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred.
