Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks drivers, to transport appliances to designated locations. Load and unload appliances using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, shoulder dollies, and manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Deliver appliances directly to customers’ homes or commercial sites while providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally. Install appliances accurately according to manufacturer specifications and company standards, including connecting water, electrical, or gas supplies as needed. Plan efficient delivery routes using route driving best practices to meet scheduled timelines and optimize fuel efficiency. Conduct thorough inspections of appliances before delivery to identify damages or defects and communicate issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for all completed jobs and inventory movements. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with appliance or heavy equipment handling experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks is highly preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving large appliances safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Knowledge of route planning, driving safety regulations, manual transmission operation, and load & unload procedures. Experience with heavy lifting, moving appliances, or working in warehouse environments is advantageous.
