Apparel Production & Sourcing Manager

Job Summary We are looking for an Apparel Production & Sourcing Manager who can find and manage the right manufacturers while protecting quality, cost, lead time and margin. What you will own Find and qualify apparel manufacturers and suppliers. Compare quotes, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, capacity and sample quality. Negotiate price and terms without focusing only on the lowest price. Coordinate samples and production with the product-development function. Track production dates, approvals, delays and supplier commitments. Put basic quality checkpoints in place before bulk production and shipment. Maintain a supplier scorecard covering quality, price, communication, lead time and reliability. Build backup supplier options to reduce single-factory risk. What we are looking for Hands-on apparel sourcing, garment production or manufacturing experience. Strong understanding of MOQ, costing, lead times, samples, production and QC. Ability to negotiate and explain tradeoffs between price, quality, speed and risk. Strong supplier communication and written follow-up. Real examples of managing apparel suppliers or production. Nice to have Overseas factory experience. Landed-cost, freight, compliance or factory-audit knowledge. Experience building supplier matrices and backup sourcing options.
