ConfidentialPosition Purpose The primary function of this position is to perform shipping, receiving, picking, packing, inventory control, and material handling activities to support warehouse and distribution operations. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of tools, merchandise, parts, and related materials while maintaining inventory accuracy, safety compliance, operational efficiency, and customer service standards. The position supports shipping and receiving schedules through proper documentation, inventory management, and adherence to established warehouse procedures. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments, inventory, tools, merchandise, and parts. Pick, pack, and prepare customer, distributor, and internal orders for shipment in accordance with quality and shipping standards. Verify shipment accuracy, completeness, labeling, and packaging requirements. Process shipping documents including packing slips, bills of lading, invoices, shipping records, and related documentation. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and freight in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. Process stock movements and shipments following established logistics and warehouse processes. Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, inventory audits, location verification, and inventory reconciliation. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain forklift certification and operate equipment according to company policies and safety requirements. Utilize warehouse management systems, company software, and computer applications to track inventory and process transactions. Maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and operational logs and reports as assigned. Move products and materials between shipping, receiving, storage, and work areas. Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and warehouse operating requirements. Communicate inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and operational concerns to warehouse leadership. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Support warehouse, distribution, inventory, and logistics operations as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: Reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Travel Requirements: No regular travel required. Occasional travel may be required for training or business-related activities.
