Role and Responsibilities of Airfreight Spot Desk Pricing Analyst:
You will analyze pricing opportunities and support airfreight pricing activities by evaluating market trends, profitability, risks, and customer requirements. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to develop effective pricing solutions while following established pricing standards and procedures.
• Execute ad hoc and spot pricing activities for airfreight products and services.
• Drive competitive pricing strategies through market and competitor analysis.
• Identify optimal pricing solutions to maximize airfreight profitability.
• Evaluate risks during solution design and spot quote processes.
• Escalate pricing risks and decision-making requirements through appropriate management channels.
• Follow pricing standards, instructions, and procedures established by management.
• Interact with customers in coordination with Sales teams.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor analysis, profitability analysis, and revenue simulations to support pricing recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience of Airfreight Spot Desk Pricing Analyst:
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and/or 1-3 years of experience in a related field and local market.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple operational and quoting systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in airfreight, logistics, transportation, pricing analysis, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with market analysis, profitability evaluation, or freight pricing processes.
Compensation and Benefits of Airfreight Spot Desk Pricing Analyst:
The pay range for this position is $68,722.50 - $91,630.00+ based on experience.
