Position Summary
We are immediately seeking a Warehouse Lead to support and mentor a team in the warehouse with daily operations. Be responsible for leading logistical needs in processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and ensuring orders are going out for deliveries promptly. 
 
Branch: Cartwright in Denver, CO
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 11am-7:30pm
Pay: $24-$26/hr depending on experience
 
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support the warehouse team by being hands-on with the team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in picking customer orders from warehouse inventory.
  • Lead a team of order pickers to ensure timely and accurate shipping. This includes the entire order fulfillment process, conducting quality checks, and ensuring orders are loaded into trucks correctly.
  • Drive organizational efficiency through strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team to meet daily shipping targets.
  • Mentor and coach team members on best practices on job fundamentals and guiding techniques to improve productivity and quality.
  • Implement best practices for maintaining order in inventory storage areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and used.
  • Provide and be open to constructive feedback and improvement opportunities.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
  • Actively monitor team members for safety compliance, report any safety concerns or hazards, and take appropriate action to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Create a motivating and inclusive environment that encourages collaboration, open communication, and teamwork.
  • Provide work training for new hires and properly onboard new hires to the warehouse team.
  • Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.
  • Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.
  • Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.
  • Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport.
Qualifications
Education & Experiences
  • High School diploma or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment.
  • Previous supervision experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to provide courteous, personal attention to promote individual customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent attention to detail with consistent, accurate, and quality work output.
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results.
  • Must be able to regularly lift over 75 lbs.
Other Qualifications
  • Forklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Experience in the flooring and/or building materials industry is a plus.
  • Able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety.
  • Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States.
