Adult Day Driver/Trainer/Direct Support Staff

The Jasper County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs has a Direct Support Professional position in the Adult Day Program as a Driver/Trainer. Day shift full-time Monday through Friday including 13 paid holidays. All applicants must have a high school diploma, GED from an accredited school or be able to pass a Competency Test, be at least 18 years of age and have a valid SC Driver’s License with a good driving record and have general computer experience. Candidates must submit to a background check, drug screen, be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, and have a desire to work with people with disabilities to help them reach their full potential. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
