Accounting Specialist

Position summary Job title: Accounting Specialist (Staff Accountant) Company: EpicHub Inc. Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA (on-site) Employment type: Full-time EpicHub is a third-party logistics (3PL) and fulfillment company in Santa Fe Springs, serving e-commerce brands in the US, Korea and Vietnam. We handle warehousing, order fulfillment, carrier shipping, and import/customs services for growing brands. We are hiring an Accounting Staff member to own day-to-day bookkeeping, client billing, payables and month-end reconciliations. This role keeps our numbers accurate as warehouse volume and our client base grow. Key responsibilities Billing and accounts receivable Prepare monthly client invoices for storage, receiving, pick/pack, shipping and value-added services, using warehouse system data Track customs duties, freight and import fees passed through to clients Post payments, follow up on past-due accounts and keep AR aging current Accounts payable Process vendor bills, including carrier invoices (USPS, UPS and freight) Audit carrier charges against shipment records and flag billing errors Schedule payments and maintain vendor records and W-9s General ledger and month-end close Record daily transactions and maintain the chart of accounts Reconcile bank, credit card and merchant accounts monthly Support month-end close, accruals and financial statement preparation Record intercompany transactions among affiliated companies Payroll, tax and compliance support Support payroll processing and reconciliation for W-2 employees and 1099 contractors Prepare year-end 1099s and support sales/use tax filings Gather schedules and records for the outside CPA, tax returns and audits Document international wire payments and supporting records Reporting and process Prepare monthly reports on revenue by client, AR, AP and cash Help improve billing accuracy and accounting procedures as the company grows Handle other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications Required Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience 2+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience (AR, AP, reconciliations) Working knowledge of GAAP basics and double-entry accounting Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS) Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet monthly deadlines Clear written and verbal communication in English Preferred Experience in logistics, 3PL, warehousing, e-commerce or freight Experience with carrier invoice audits or usage-based client billing Exposure to payroll, sales tax or multi-entity accounting Bilingual in Korean Familiarity with Stripe, ShipStation or warehouse management systems Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
