Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Access Control Dispatcher to join our team for a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. This vital role involves managing access control, surveillance monitoring, and communication duties to ensure the safety and security of our facilities. Duties Authorize and verify access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors using security systems and ID checks Monitor CCTV systems and surveillance cameras to oversee facility activity and detect any irregularities Respond promptly to security alerts or incidents by communicating effectively with internal teams or emergency responders Maintain detailed logs of access activities, shift reports, incident documentation, and surveillance records Operate security systems including CCTV equipment (AV), access control devices, and alarm systems with technical proficiency Use internal communication tools such as radios or phones to coordinate with team members during shifts Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally while maintaining security protocols Qualifications Prior experience in dispatching, security operations, or law enforcement is highly desirable Strong knowledge of CCTV system operation, surveillance monitoring, and security system monitoring Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for effective internal communication and report writing Basic math skills for verifying identification data and processing logs accurately Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and professionally Technical proficiency with security technology, including CCTV systems (AV) and access control hardware Call center experience or phone communication skills are a plus but not required Join us in delivering dependable security services that prioritize safety through proactive monitoring, clear communication, and dedicated teamwork.
