3rd Shift Production Material Handler

Mirai Casting, INC. Effingham, IL Material Handler - 3rd shift (11pm - 7am) Responsibilities include all aspects of material handling – Transporting raw materials from Kanban storage area to Production lines, moving completed product to Finished Goods staging area, handling of scrap and waste materials, and assisting Production as needed. Responsibilities: · Operates a Forklift in a safe and efficient manner. · Inspects loads ensuring load integrity, appropriate signage, and other designated internal/external requirements. · Understands FIFO and complies with resulting expectations concerning product flow within the complete process from dock to warehouse and must be able to move material efficiently and accurately. · Performs Forklift PMs as directed. · Loads and unloads product to and from trucks as directed. · Has computer experience and knowledge of inventory movement software. · Has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, a good attendance record, and demonstrates self-motivation. · Willing to work OT and weekends as needed. Education/Experience Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent. Related experience and/or training preferred. Qualifications: · Solid work history. · Good oral communications. · Understanding and following instructions. · Problem solving. · Dependable and responsible. · Positive work attitude. · Punctual. · Ability to work in a team environment. · Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule. · Ability to work without supervision.
