Job Title: 3PL Logistics Coordinator Location: Buffalo, NY 14207 (On-site) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 – $31.00 per hour Reports to: 3PL Operations Manager About the Role: SPEED Global Services is hiring a 3PL Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day transportation and logistics for our customers, carriers, and warehouse operations in Buffalo, NY. You'll schedule and track freight across truckload, LTL, intermodal, and expedited modes, serve as the go-to contact for your customer accounts, and keep shipments moving smoothly between the U.S. and Canada. Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Disability and Life Insurance Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Time 401(k) What You'll Do: Shipment Coordination and Dispatch Schedule, dispatch, and track shipments across truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and expedited freight Manage every shipment from pickup through final delivery Communicate proactively with carriers, drivers, customers, and warehouse staff about status updates and delays Keep freight scheduling accurate and on time to meet customer requirements Customer Service and Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts Respond promptly to questions about shipments, inventory, and transportation services Provide regular status updates and resolve service issues quickly Build strong customer relationships that support retention and growth Carrier Management: Source and secure qualified carriers and transportation providers Negotiate freight rates and manage carrier performance Verify carrier compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements Monitor service levels and address performance concerns Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain bills of lading (BOLs), freight invoices, shipping documents, and customs paperwork Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and customer-specific requirements Support cross-border shipping between the United States and Canada Maintain accurate records in TMS, WMS, and company systems Assist with inventory coordination and warehouse logistics as needed What You'll Bring: 1+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight brokerage, or 3PL operations Solid understanding of freight transportation and carrier operations Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and logistics software (TMS/WMS) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field Knowledge of U.S.–Canada cross-border shipping and customs procedures Fluent spoken and written English Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Primarily an office-based administrative role: sitting, talking, and listening for extended periods Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes required when in the warehouse area Apply today to join a team that keeps freight moving across the U.S. and Canada.
