Duties Safely operate a 26ft box truck, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs across designated areas Assist with warehouse operations including material handling, inventory checks, and maintaining organized loading zones Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any concerns promptly Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes accurately and update delivery statuses in real-time Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance Must be able to lift 50lbs. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or van driver with a focus on commercial driving and route driving Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on jurisdiction Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus Ability to lift heavy loads safely, following manual handling safety standards, including heavy lifting and weight handling in the workplace Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial truck driving and weight limits in the workplace Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via mobile devices or in person Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including loading, unloading, moving items, and performing heavy lifting tasks Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Join our team as a 26ft Box Truck Driver if you’re passionate about safe driving, delivering exceptional service, and working in an energetic environment where your skills truly shine!
