26' Box Truck Driver – New York / New Jersey Routes Triangle Quality Foods is looking for a reliable, safety-focused 26' Box Truck Driver to join our distribution team serving customers throughout New York and New Jersey . This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position operating a 26-foot box truck on local and regional delivery routes. Drivers will begin and end their workday at the company's designated truck parking/cross-dock location in Northern New Jersey . The exact reporting location will be confirmed prior to the employee's start date. NO CDL REQUIRED. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck on assigned delivery routes throughout New York, New Jersey, and surrounding areas as needed. Report to the company's designated truck parking/cross-dock location in Northern New Jersey to begin the workday. Verify that products are properly loaded and cargo is secure before departure. Deliver products accurately, safely, and professionally to customers. Load and unload merchandise throughout the workday. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report safety or maintenance concerns. Maintain required delivery, route, and vehicle documentation. Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations . Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and law enforcement/DOT officials when necessary. Handle customer payments and required delivery documentation when applicable. Requirements Valid authorization to work in the United States and ability to complete the Form I-9 employment verification process. Valid U.S. driver's license. Minimum 2 years of driving experience in the United States. Experience driving 26-foot box trucks is required. Acceptable driving record ( MVR ). Ability to communicate in English sufficiently to interact with law enforcement/DOT officials and understand traffic signs, safety instructions, and directions. Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial driving practices. DOT Medical Card/Certificate preferred. Candidates who do not currently have one must be willing and able to complete the required process to obtain it. Experience performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections . Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform loading and unloading duties throughout the workday. Reliable transportation to the company's designated reporting location in Northern New Jersey. Schedule Monday through Friday Full-time Day shift Start time varies depending on the assigned route. Flexibility for early-morning start times is required based on route and operational needs. Home daily. Local and regional delivery routes primarily serving New York and New Jersey .
