2027 Summer Analyst, Construction (Data Centers)
RelatedResponsibilities: The Summer Analyst will be responsible for providing necessary insight and input on construction schedule, cost and complexity. The construction team works alongside the project's in-house design, financial and development management team to manage costs, explore building system alternatives, coordinate zoning and permits, and oversee the project's construction bid and contract process. Shadow project managers/superintendents on site walks and progress meetings Track and update project schedules (e.g., in MS Project or Procore) Review and organize submittals, RFIs, and change orders Assist with punch list tracking and closeout documentation Help compile daily/weekly progress reports and photo logs Support budget tracking — compare actuals vs. projected costs Attend and take notes at owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings Qualifications: Related's summer analyst program intends to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2027 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria: Current undergraduate sophomore with a target graduation date between December 2027-May 2029 A strong passion for infrastructure development, construction management, and AI Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, construction management, and other related fields Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing Self-starter, demonstrates a proactive approach to tasks and challenges Detail-oriented Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment Resume must include expected graduation month/year Related is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.
