McCall FarmsJob Title: Forklift Driver-Receiving Level: Hourly Department: Receiving HOURS: 6AM-2:30PM 1.0 SUMMARY 1.1 The Forklift Driver in department receiving 51-REC is responsible for supplying various locations throughout the plant with the proper materials to help with completing the required daily production. 2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Put-away Area 2.1 Make sure pallets are wrapped correctly. 2.2 Cans are stacked properly on the pallets. 2.3 Make sure the label matches the product on the can. 2.4 Verify that we are placing the pallet in the correct bin. 2.5 Make sure the pallets are placed on the left side of the row. 2.6 Make sure we are marking every pallet we place in a bin. 2.7 Keep an eye on red pallets, slip sheets and toppers. 2.8 Responsible for unloading proper wrapped brite pallets from the pallet wrapping machine conveyor. 2.9 Maintains current knowledge of locations, item numbers, and can sizes while putting brite pallet is the right rows in the warehouses. Receiving Area 2.10 Verify bins match what we are pulling in the system. 2.11 Scanning pallets in MOBE3 one at a time. 2.12 Responsible for containerizing brite pallets from SAGE to MOBE3, to prepare brite pallets for transferring to other departments. 2.13 Making sure we are using the proper scanning protocol. 2.14 Responsible for loading containerize brite pallets onto tugger carts and trailers for transporting brite pallets to other departments. 2.15 Unloading slip sheets and good red pallets. 2.16 Verifying tugger inventory before it leaves the receiving department. 2.17 Making sure the battery stations is up to par and batteries in the correct place. 2.18 Making sure the back patio is in order. 2.19 Complete pallet counts at the end of the shift for inventory purpose. M-Warehouse Area 2.20 Unloading cans from the trailer straight to the Depal. 2.21 Sets up Depal lines-ensuring that the correct empty can size pallets are properly placed on the correct Depal line. 2.22 Dump waste trash hoppers as necessary from the Depal areas. 2.23 Verifying the Crown BOL as they come in. 2.24 Unloading LTL’s. 2.25 Making sure Dunnage is loaded properly. 2.26 Keeping a check on the Dunnage stacker. 2.27 Make sure we are pulling after hours cans after 11pm. 2.28 Backfilling after hours cans. 2.29 Make sure the can rows are in the proper order. 2.30 Making sure we verify cans before putting on the Depal. 2.31 Make sure trash boxes and strap bins are empty. Responsibilities for all areas in 51-REC 2.32 Any other duties that are assigned by supervisor, or management. 2.33 Follow all rules, safety procedures, and guidelines set in the McCall Farms handbook. 2.34 Keeping the warehouse clean, and organized. 2.35 In knowing how to read product labels. 2.36 Properly filling out paperwork documents (BOLs), and making sure they are turned in daily. 2.37 Keeping the pallet, and slip sheet areas full, straight, and organized for production. 2.38 Proper technique of locking down trailers before loading or unloading. Make sure trash boxes and strap bins are empty. 2.39 Responsible for the rotation of stock, ensuring that the oldest product is moved out or delivered first. 2.40 Other duties may be assigned from Receiving supervisor or manager. 3.0 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 3.1 Previous experience and proper forklift training and certification through McCall Farms- must pass written and driving tests. 4.0 LANGUAGE SKILLS 4.1 Ability to read and interpret documents such as federal and state laws, legal documents, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals. 4.2 Strong ability to communicate with others with written and verbal communication. 5.0 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 5.1 Ability to perform advanced calculations and formulas. 6.0 REASONING ABILITY 6.1 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 6.2 Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 6.3 Mu…
