1st Shift Metal Shop Material Handler
OpSource Staffing IncJob Position: 1st Shift Metal Shop Material Handler Location: Easley, SC 29640 Pay: $18-$20 per hour based on experience Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm/4:30pm based on workflow. OT as needed Description: Opsource has partnered with a growing company in Easley, SC who is looking for a Material Handler to join their team on 1st Shift! Must have experience with forklifts, cranes and carts in a Metal Fabrication Environment/ Manufacturing Facility required. Primary Purpose: Move materials and completed racks throughout the facility and efficiently with use of carts, cranes and forklifts. Job Responsibilities: Transports material or racks to and from designated areas. Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles. Ensuring loads are secure. Moving goods packed on pallets on material carts around the facility. Stacking goods in the correct storage bays following inventory control instructions. Dump materials into machine scrap hoppers. Perform daily equipment checks: recharging truck battery and lubricating equipment removing machine attachments and waste material from machines (machine operator should remove attachments and re-attach when finished charging) Minimum Experience and Qualifications Education: None required. Experience: 1 year(s) preferred in forklift. 1 year(s) preferred in manufacturing environment.
