1st Shift Cashier

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their shopping experience Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain the cash drawer, ensure proper cash register operations, and handle retail math accurately Stock shelves, organize displays, and support merchandising efforts to keep the store inviting and well-presented Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Support inventory management by participating in stocking activities and product replenishment Requirements Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to connect with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our multicultural clientele Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, balancing registers, and performing retail math calculations Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and customer service best practices Join us in creating memorable shopping experiences!
