Yard Worker

Overview Superior Fence and Rail of Memphis , a leader in the fencing industry, is seeking a full-time Yard Worker. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and ensuring the safe movement of goods within our warehouse and yard. Pay starts at $16.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience). Typical work week is Monday to Friday from 6:40 am to 3:45 pm with occasional overtime as needed. Work consists of picking fence orders, operating a CNC router to fabricate vinyl fence, light carpentry, heavy lifting, and forklift driving. ** Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing drug testing and background check. Job Responsibilities: Moving incoming or outgoing materials throughout the shop and/or yard areas Identify, separate, label and store material supplies as directed Use safe and secure practices when when fabricating fencing materials Load outgoing materials each day and verify that all orders are accurate Meet safety, productivity and quality standards set by Superior Fence & Rail Responsible for pulling and processing orders in the appropriate allotted time Help to ensure that the yard/work areas are maintained, clean and organized Operate the CNC router to fabricate vinyl fence Occassional metal fabrication and welding Perform other duties as assigned. Light fence repair/warranty work Minimum requirements: Possess Valid Driver’s License and maintain a Clean Driving Record Pass background check (no felonies or sex offenses) Pass drug screening Reliable transportation Ability to Lift up to 80 lbs Benefits: Medical, Dental 401k Paid time off (Holidays, vacation) The Superior candidate will: Be detail-oriented and customer-focused with a stable job history Have shop or residential construction experience (i.e. fencing, framing, carpentry) Have basic welding skills Have solid organization/time-management skills with a positive attitude If you are interested in the Yard Worker position, please apply directly through Indeed.
