Yard Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Yard Worker to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse distribution operations, including the handling, loading, and unloading of materials and equipment. Duties Safely load and unload trucks using various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and cranes in accordance with safety protocols and OSHA standards Remove tires and stack them Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety procedures Load and unload materials efficiently while practicing manual handling techniques to prevent injury Support warehouse operations by maintaining a clean, organized yard environment and adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles with warehouse experience preferred Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks safely and effectively Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners for accurate order processing Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting techniques for heavy loads Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Join our team as a Yard Worker where your energy, skills in materials handling, and dedication to safety will drive our success forward.
