Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Yard Worker to join our team and help maintain efficient yard operations. In this role, you will be responsible for load and unload activities, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth movement of goods within our warehouse environment. Your energetic approach will contribute to a safe, organized, and productive yard. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks using heavy equipment such as forklifts and other equipment Perform order picking and assist with warehouse distribution tasks to fulfill shipping and receiving needs Picking Up Parts Lawn Maintenance Snow Shovelling Oil Spraying/Painting Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately Conduct heavy lifting up to 50 LBS safely while adhering to safety protocols and best practices Support related activities as needed, including handling materials and equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to ensure timely loading, unloading, and order fulfillment Requirements Previous warehouse experience or construction background preferred Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance Valid certification or experience operating forklifts or willing to obtain Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with warehouse management systems is an asset Strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork skills Must have a valid G license Join us as a Yard Worker and become an integral part of a passionate team dedicated to operational excellence!
