Security Building Supplies in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan has an opportunity for a Yard/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This person will report to the Operations Manager. Duties: Look after contractors and helping customers find products, load/unload vehicles. Work safely and abide by Occupational Health & Safety standards. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as Forklift safely and efficiently Ensuring compliance to company safety policies and SOP's Picking, Prepping, and Packaging customer orders. Use proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to products. Maintain the warehouse and yard areas ensuring cleanliness at all times. Ability to operate - MITRE Saw and Table Saw. Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment. Ensure all products leaving the yard are thoroughly packaged safely. Ability to work in all weather conditions as applicable to position. Prior knowledge of operating Hand scanners will be beneficial however training will be provided. Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. Requirements: Own steel-toed boots Knowledge and experience in shipping and receiving would be beneficial Forklift certification would be an asset but willing to train the right person. Become knowledgeable about all products stored in the yard. Be physically fit and able to lift large, heavy and bulky objects up to 80lbs without struggle.
