Yard Supervisor

F.W. Webb, New England’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Yard Associate for its Maspeth, NY location. Responsibilities: Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries. Maintain and organize yard Order fulfillment process of pipe and yard material Check that all trucks are loaded with proper fabrication, pipe, boxes, pallets, etc. Cleaning, stocking and organizing the yard area Effectively handle customer service issues and problem solve with efficiency Manage customer deliveries. Supervise day to day pipe and yard operations Actively maintain and promote safety initiatives Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Forklift experience required Able to interpret truck load sheets and packing lists Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task Must possess a high level of customer service Good interpersonal and communication skills Supervisory experience in a warehouse/yard setting Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing priorities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Maspeth, NY 11378 (Required) Work Location: In person
