Yard Operator/ Truss Delivery driver

CDL Truss Delivery Driver / Yard Operator F&R Truss Company is looking for a dependable, hardworking CDL Truss Delivery Driver / Yard Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is driving and delivering trusses, windows, doors, framing packages, and other building materials to job sites . This position will also assist with yard and truss production operations when needed. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Lunch: 1-hour lunch break Employment: Full-Time Responsibilities Drive semi-trucks, dump trucks, and vehicles pulling trailers Safely transport and deliver trusses, windows, doors, framing packages, and other building materials to job sites Load, unload, and properly secure materials for transportation Operate a forklift for loading and unloading materials Assist with organizing and maintaining the yard Read and accurately use a measuring tape Assist with building and assembling wood trusses when needed Use hammers, saws, and other tools as required Follow measurements, house plans, and production instructions Lift and move materials weighing approximately 30–80 pounds Follow all company and job-site safety procedures Work as part of a team and assist with general truss-yard operations as needed Requirements Valid CDL is required Experience driving a semi-truck and/or dump truck Experience pulling trailers Forklift experience required or preferred Ability to safely load, unload, and secure building materials Ability to read a measuring tape Comfortable using a hammer and saw Ability to lift and move 30–80 pounds Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Construction, framing, truss, or building-material experience is a plus Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with hands-on work when needed. Important: This is primarily a CDL driving and delivery position , but the successful candidate must also be willing to assist with truss production and yard operations when necessary.
