Yard Manager

We are looking for an experienced Yard Manager to oversee daily operations at our tire recycling warehouse in Newark. The right person should have experience running a shop or yard, supervising employees, and working with tires, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities: Oversee daily yard operations and keep things running smoothly. Supervise and lead employees, assign tasks, and make sure work gets done. Oversee the handling, sorting, and loading of tires. Make sure tools and equipment are used properly and maintained. Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe. Solve day-to-day problems and keep management informed. Requirements: Experience managing a shop, warehouse, or industrial yard. Knowledge of tires and tire-related operations. Familiarity with tools, machinery, and heavy equipment. Strong leadership and communication skills. Reliable, hands-on, and able to manage a team. Forklift or loader experience is a plus.
