Yard Jockey / Dock Loader – Yard Truck Falcon Standard · Kings Mountain, NC · Full-time Pay: $21–$22/hour, based on experience. Falcon Standard repairs delivery carts for a major national e-commerce logistics network. Trailers of damaged carts come in, repaired carts go out. We need one person to run our yard: move trailers to and from the dock doors with our yard truck, and help load and unload in between. The pay, up front $21–$22/hour, based on experience 9 to 10-hour days, Monday to Friday. Overtime at time and a half after 40 hours Saturday work is available some weeks Paid weekly What you'll do Move trailers between the yard and our two dock doors with a yard truck Hook and unhook trailers: air lines, landing gear, fifth wheel Check every trailer in and out on a handheld: trailer number, trip number, photos Look over each trailer and report damage (flat tires, bent doors, leaks) Chock wheels and set dock plates before anyone goes in Unload damaged carts and load repaired carts between trailer moves Keep the yard organized so no trailer sits longer than it should What you need Yard truck / spotter experience, or tractor-trailer experience No CDL needed. All moves stay inside our fenced yard. CDL is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus Able to work outside in all weather and on your feet for 9 to 10-hour days Steel-toe safety shoes Pass a drug test and background check before your first day What we provide Yard truck and all equipment Training on our check-in and check-out process Day shift, 6:30 AM start We're a new company growing to more locations across the Southeast.
