Yard Jockey / Regional Flatbed Driver Boling, TX | Full-Time | Class A CDL Required Rowdy FR8 is an established flatbed carrier operating in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Our work is guided by five core principles: integrity, reliability, accountability, commitment, and safety . We’re seeking an experienced Class A CDL driver who shares those values. This position begins with a yard assignment in Boling, TX, and transitions into a regional flatbed company driver role when the yard contract ends. Initial Assignment: Yard Jockey Duration: At least four months. Pay: $30 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 6 hours per day. Schedule: Monday–Friday; on site and ready to work by 7:00 a.m. Responsibilities: Move, spot, and park tractor-trailers safely and accurately, including maneuvering 53-foot trailers in tight spaces. Commute: Must be able to commute to Boling, TX, each workday. Following the Yard Assignment: Regional Flatbed Driver Position: Class A CDL company driver hauling regional flatbed loads. Starting pay: 27% of linehaul revenue. Responsibilities: Operate a commercial truck pulling a flatbed trailer, secure and inspect freight, and plan and complete regional deliveries safely and on schedule. Responsibilities During Both Assignments Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Promptly report equipment deficiencies and safety hazards and ensure they are addressed appropriately. Follow applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours-of-service requirements. Protect company equipment and customer freight through safe, dependable work practices. Requirements Valid Class A CDL with at least two years of verifiable Class A driving experience . Clean MVR and PSP history . No major violations or SAP history . Experience operating a tractor-trailer with a manual transmission . Ability to safely maneuver and park 53-foot trailers in tight spaces . Experience with and knowledge of safe load securement practices . Knowledge of applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations. Ability to commute to Boling, TX, each workday during the yard assignment. Preferred: Flatbed hauling experience and proficiency in route planning and GPS navigation.
