Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment Support order picking processes by accurately locating and retrieving items with RF scanners and manual handling techniques Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts following all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards Manage inventory by organizing materials within the yard, conducting stock counts, and updating records Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods for shipping & receiving operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard environment by adhering to safety procedures and conducting routine inspections Support warehouse supervisors with general materials handling tasks and assist in maintaining efficient warehouse operations Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles Familiarity with order picker operations, inventory management systems, and RF scanners Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, crane, pallet jacks, and load & unload machinery safely Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads regularly while maintaining proper safety practices Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurement tasks Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safety protocol adherence in warehouse environments Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in materials handling and storage processes Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in warehouse operations while ensuring safety and efficiency.
