We are looking for a hardworking, dependable Yard Employee to join our building materials team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, helping customers, and being part of a fast-paced team environment. As a Yard Employee, you will assist with loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory, organizing the yard, and providing excellent customer service to contractors, builders, and homeowners. Responsibilities Load and unload lumber, drywall, roofing, siding, and other building materials. Assist customers with selecting and loading products. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely. Keep the yard clean, organized, and well-stocked. Pull and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently. Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips. Assist drivers with preparing deliveries. Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety procedures. Work collaboratively with yard, warehouse, and sales team members. Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds on a regular basis. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Forklift experience preferred but not required; training available.
