Yard Coordinator

The Yard Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the dealership yard and equipment inventory. This role supports the sales and service teams by ensuring equipment is properly staged, accessible, and presentation-ready for customers. The Yard Coordinator plays a key role in creating a safe, efficient, and professional environment. The essential job functions include but are not limited to the responsibilities listed below. Organize and maintain the equipment yard, ensuring units are properly staged, labeled, and easily accessible Assist with loading and unloading equipment deliveries and transfers Clean and prepare equipment for display, delivery, or service Conduct routine inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment for damage or missing components Coordinate movement of equipment between yard, showroom, and service areas Maintain clear and safe traffic flow throughout the yard Ensure lot is clean, including removal of debris, trash, and snow/ice as needed Assist sales team with equipment setup for customer demonstrations Support service department by transporting units as needed Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, battery checks, and tire inflation Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with agricultural or heavy equipment is a plus Ability to operate forklifts, tractors, or other equipment (or willingness to be trained) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Work Environment Primarily outdoors in a dealership yard setting Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment This position is not work from home eligible
