Get a sneak peek into life at ADESA!Role and TeamThis position is responsible for pick up and delivery of customer vehicles with a 4-car Hauler with airbrakes and reports to the Operations Manager or designated manager as part of the Transportation/Logistics team.
ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently pick up and deliver customer vehiclesLoad and unload customer vehiclesPrioritize safe driving and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Qualification Policy. Consistent, and safe driving is crucial for this role.
Complete condition reports and complete paperwork related to the pick up and delivery of the vehicleCommunicate with customers to verify vehicle information and condition of vehiclesMaintain good flow of communication with all team members and practice good teamworkInspect the wrecker or rollback to ensure the vehicle maintains good maintenance and safe driving conditionsQualificationsHigh School or GED requiredMust have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past 3 yearsExperience driving 4-car hauler with airbrakesClass B License with Airbrake EndorsementMust be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmissionsEffective customer relations, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and a background checkPrevious DOT driving experience preferredMust be 18 years of ageADESA Benefits and PerksCompetitive Pay | Quality Benefits | Holiday and Paid Time Off | Education and Equipment Reimbursement Programs | Matching 401(k) | Career Path Opportunities | And More!
