Wire Form Operator Location: Muscle Shoals, Alabama Status: Full-time non-exempt Shift: 1st Altius is a manufacturing and supply chain company built for industrial customers who care about execution. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Wire Form Machine Operator to join our 1st shift manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating wire forming and cutting machinery, as well as bending wire pieces to precise specifications using specialized equipment. This job is ideal for individuals who prefer routine and enjoy working with their hands. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate wire straightening and cutting machinery to prepare coiled wire for further processing. Accurately bend wire pieces one at a time according to specific job requirements using manual or automated bending equipment. Inspect wire pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues to ensure continuous operation. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. Record production data and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor. Collaborate with team members and assist in other production tasks as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating wire form machinery or similar equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and maintain consistent production output. Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and quality standards. Ability to stand for extended periods.
