Winter Spray Truck Driver D&L Landscaping & Concrete Ltd. Winnipeg, MB Seasonal Winter Position Company Benefits Available D&L Landscaping & Concrete is looking for a reliable Spray Truck Driver / Liquid De-Icing Operator to join our winter operations team. This position involves driving company spray equipment to commercial properties throughout Winnipeg and applying liquid de-icer to parking lots, drive lanes, entrances and other designated areas. Previous liquid de-icing or spray equipment experience is not required. We will provide training on our equipment, application procedures and routes. We are looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable driving in winter conditions and able to work independently while following site instructions and application requirements. Responsibilities Drive company vehicle with liquid de-icing equipment to assigned commercial properties Apply liquid de-icer evenly and accurately throughout designated areas Follow assigned routes, application instructions and supervisor direction Complete basic pre-trip and equipment inspections Monitor spray equipment during use and report any issues Keep basic records of completed applications and properties serviced Work safely around parked vehicles, pedestrians and other snow-removal equipment Assist with filling and preparing spray equipment when required Maintain communication with supervisors throughout the shift Requirements Valid driver's licence Comfortable driving vehicles and pick-up trucks in winter conditions Reliable and punctual Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends when weather conditions require it Able to report for weather-dependent shifts on relatively short notice Strong attention to detail and safe driving habits Previous snow removal, equipment operation or commercial driving experience is an asset, but not required What We Offer Training provided on liquid de-icing equipment and application procedures Competitive wage based on experience Company benefits Modern equipment and an established winter operations team Opportunity to gain experience in commercial snow and ice management Potential for continued work with D&L outside of the winter season Liquid de-icing is an important part of our winter service program, and this position is best suited to someone who is dependable, takes care of equipment and is comfortable working independently while representing D&L at customer properties.
