Job Summary Window World of Kentuckiana is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Window Purchasing Assistant to support purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will assist with ordering windows, doors, and installation materials, maintain accurate purchasing records, track deliveries, and help ensure materials are available for scheduled projects. Key Responsibilities Assist with purchasing windows, doors, and related installation materials Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules Track orders and follow up on delayed or incomplete shipments Verify received materials against purchase orders and invoices Maintain inventory records and report low-stock items Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and installation teams to confirm material requirements Review invoices and assist with resolving purchasing discrepancies Organize supplier documents, product specifications, and order confirmations Follow company purchasing procedures and help control material costs Qualifications Previous purchasing, inventory, administrative, or supply chain experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets and order-management systems Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Ability to coordinate multiple orders and meet deadlines Effective problem-solving and teamwork skills Familiarity with construction materials, windows, or home improvement products is an advantage Benefits Competitive pay Paid training Health, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees Paid time off Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Career advancement opportunities About the Company Window World of Kentuckiana is a home improvement business associated with window and door products and installation services.
