Winch Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Winch Truck Driver to operate winch trucks for hauling skid loads and equipment across various routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, including winch truck operations, and possess the skills necessary to safely load, unload, and transport cargo. This role involves driving flatbeds ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. The Winch Truck Driver will play a vital role in our logistics operations, supporting efficient and reliable transportation services. Responsibilities Operate winch trucks and tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling Route planning to optimize delivery schedules and meet customer deadlines Assist with route driving tasks for delivery of freight across various locations Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tractor-trailer or flatbed preferred Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with winch truck operation Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and loading skid equipment onto the trailer with the winch Experience with operating a winch truck. Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking and cargo transport Strong driving skills with a focus on route driving and load management Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening prior to employment Physical ability to handle the demands of long hours on the road and lifting cargo when required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $350.00 - $450.00 per day Work Location: On the road
