Manufacturing/Production Planning Specialist Direct Hire/Perm - LOCATION - Greater Milwaukee, WI area ( West of Metro area) Work is onsite (sorry, no hybrid/remote options available) We are seeking a skilled Production/Manufacturing Planning Specialist to join our team in greater Waukesha, WI area, in a role where you will work as part of the greater Supply Chain team, to develop production schedules, coordinate materials availability, and align manufacturing capacity with customer demand, working to ensure deliverable schedules and that manufacturing teams have what they need to meet goals/timelines. Key Responsibilities will include the following: Create and manage production schedules to support customer orders and forecasted demand Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and inventory teams to ensure material availability Monitor ERP/MRP planning data and resolve shortages or scheduling issues Adjust production plans based on changing priorities, capacity, and operational needs Track key metrics related to delivery performance, scheduling accuracy, and efficiency Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts Qualifications: 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience in manufacturing Experience with ERP/MRP systems ( SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.) Experience with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), and ability to contribute to strategic planning and Supply Chain optimization efforts. Strong Excel and data analysis skills Knowledge of inventory control, capacity planning, and manufacturing operations Excellent organizational and communication skills, and an ability/comfort in communicating with cross functional team members/leaders.
