About the Role Buff Clucks is scaling fast into national retailers — Tractor Supply Co., Elder's Ace, and Rural King, alongside existing accounts like Chewy, Coastal, and Cal Ranch. We're hiring a Wholesale Operations & Accounts Manager to own the operational backbone of these relationships: forecasting, fulfillment, EDI, compliance, portal management, and reporting — the day-to-day work that keeps our retail partnerships running smoothly as we scale. Responsibilities Coordinate with supply chain team on forecasting to ensure adequate inventory across all wholesale/retail accounts Serve as primary point of contact with our 3PL for order fulfillment and issue resolution Ensure the warehouse is briefed on and compliant with each retailer's labeling requirements Own EDI processes: accept, validate, and ensure accurate transmission of POs, ASNs, and invoices Set up and maintain SKUs/items in retailer portals (TSC, Rural King, Chewy, etc.) Monitor digital shelf presence — PDP images, item descriptions, content accuracy across portals Pull and distribute weekly sell-through/selling reports Analyze sales and stock data to flag risks (stockouts, overstock, slow movers) and inform replenishment/inventory decisions Surface trends and anomalies in retailer performance data to support broader account decisions Attend retailer conferences to help train store associates on product knowledge and selling Travel to stores for associate relationship-building and in-person product training Prep for and attend trade shows representing Buff Clucks Experience & Skills 3–5+ years in retail operations, wholesale account support, or supply chain/EDI coordination — CPG, pet, or farm/ranch industry experience a strong plus Hands-on experience with EDI systems and retailer portals (e.g., TSC's vendor portal, Rural King, Chewy Supplier Hub) Working knowledge of 3PL fulfillment operations and forecasting/demand planning Familiarity with retail compliance requirements (labeling, routing guides, chargebacks) Strong Excel/data analysis skills — pivot tables, formulas, comfort building and interpreting reports Highly detail-oriented and organized — this role is the operational glue across multiple retail systems running in parallel Comfortable in a fast-growing, resource-lean startup environment Must be able to travel 4–6 times per year for retailer conferences, store visits, and trade shows Must be based in the US This is a contractor role Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
