White Glove Delivery Professional

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented White Glove Delivery Professional to provide exceptional delivery experiences for our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, handling, and installing high-value and delicate items directly into customers’ homes or businesses. Your focus will be on delivering a premium service that emphasizes professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the face of our brand while ensuring the secure and careful handling of each delivery. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load, unload, and move large or heavy items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies. Conduct thorough inspections of deliveries to ensure items are in excellent condition upon arrival. Deliver products directly to customers’ homes or businesses with a focus on professionalism and customer service excellence. Install or set up delivered items as required, ensuring proper placement and functionality according to customer specifications. Communicate proactively with customers to confirm delivery times, answer questions, and provide a positive experience. Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices and follow route plans efficiently to maximize productivity. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or courier services is highly preferred. Valid driver’s license with experience operating box trucks, commercial trucks, or vans; a clean driving record is essential. Ability to handle manual lifting safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while following safe lifting practices. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous; knowledge of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and weight handling in the workplace is required. Experience with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation is preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
