Fred's BedsJob Overview We are seeking dedicated and energetic White Glove Delivery People to provide exceptional delivery services that prioritize customer satisfaction and safety. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-value, large, or fragile items directly to customers’ homes or businesses with professionalism and care. Your focus will be on ensuring a seamless delivery experience by handling items meticulously, adhering to safety protocols, and offering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks for delivery routes, ensuring compliance with traffic laws. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, hand trucks and mattress carts while practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques. Deliver products directly to customers’ locations, providing a white glove experience through careful handling and professional interaction. Some assembly necessary at times, including light tools. Assist with moving and positioning large or heavy items inside customers’ premises as needed, ensuring proper manual handling procedures are followed. (Usually mattresses, sometimes dressers, chests, or headboards. Use mobile devices to manage delivery routes, update delivery statuses, and communicate effectively with your manager. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions professionally, offering product guidance if necessary, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion of each delivery. Experience Prior warehouse/ commercial driving experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and heavy lifting techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally in diverse settings. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks throughout the day. Background Check A background check will be performed. No one with crimes against people or financial crimes will be considered. Minor old infractions are not a hinderance to employment. Pay Structure Hourly + tips. Paid bi weekly, direct deposit. This role is hourly - excellent service will greatly increase your tips.
