Wheelchair Van Driver/NEMT Transportation (Minimum 2 Years of NEMT experience required)

Job Title: Wheelchair Transport Driver Company: K & K Medical Transport Location: Williamson & Travis County Job Type: Seeking 1 Full-Time Driver and 1 Part-Time On Call Driver Schedule: Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed. Job Overview: We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused Wheelchair Transport Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, and comfortable assisting passengers who use wheelchairs or have mobility challenges. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport clients, including wheelchair passengers to and from their destinations Properly secure wheelchairs using tie-downs and safety equipment Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle as needed Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and meets all safety requirements Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times Follow assigned schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies Qualifications: Minimum 2 years verifiable NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) experience required. Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to safely assist passengers with mobility challenges, including wheelchair users Comfortable operating wheelchair-accessible vans Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor Must pass a background check and drug screening CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain prior to hire.
