Wellness & Medical Back Office Support

I-Squared Medical Group is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Wellness & Medical Back Office Support to join our team. This position combines traditional medical assistant responsibilities with back-office operations, Apothecary management, and support for our growing wellness services. We are looking for someone who is proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced medical practice, and able to take ownership of day-to-day clinical and back-office responsibilities while providing an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities Complete supplement & peptide orders (ordering, packing, charging, shipping) Provide clinical and medical assistant support to physicians, PAs, and NPs Assist with IV therapy and related wellness services Triage and communicate patient concerns to the appropriate clinical provider Clinical documentation Monitor and respond to emails, ensuring requests are addressed or routed to the appropriate team member Maintain and organize medical supplies, medications, supplements, peptides, and back-office inventory Monitor medication, supplement, and supply expiration dates Place and track supply orders and ensure clinical areas remain appropriately stocked Maintain positive working relationships with supplement, peptide, and wellness vendors/representatives Communicate with vendor representatives regarding products, ordering, availability, educational materials, and practice needs Inventory management and restocking Assist with opening and closing responsibilities for the clinical/back-office area Support the growth and organization of IV therapy, supplements, peptides, and other wellness services Educate patients on practice services and help coordinate care as directed by providers Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked patient care areas Work closely with the front desk, providers, and management to ensure smooth daily operations Record Requests Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Experience in a primary care, internal medicine, concierge, or wellness setting is a plus Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy is preferred Comfortable administering injections and vaccines within appropriate scope and under provider direction Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols Excellent communication and patient service skills Comfortable with EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience is a plus Strong organizational, inventory-management, and communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently while remaining part of a collaborative team Dependable, professional, proactive, and comfortable communicating with outside vendors and representatives About I-Squared Medical Group I-Squared Medical Group is a patient-focused medical practice in Chicago offering primary care, concierge medicine, preventive health, and wellness services.
