Welding Supply Delivery Driver

Overview As a Welding Supply Delivery Driver, you’ll keep essential welding supplies moving from the warehouse to customers. You’ll prepare orders, secure and transport materials in a box truck, van, or other assigned vehicle, and provide dependable, courteous service at each stop. The role combines warehouse operations, safe material handling, route driving, and customer interaction. Responsibilities Pick, load, secure, and unload welding supplies; use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate. Drive assigned delivery routes, follow traffic regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, and use mobile devices for delivery updates. Handle deliveries safely, including heavy lifting and moving materials with proper lifting practices. Confirm orders and communicate professionally with customers about deliveries. Your impact: Accurate, safe deliveries help customers receive the supplies they need to keep their work moving. Skills Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or warehouse experience is helpful; commercial driving or commercial truck driving experience is preferred. Ability to drive a box truck and, where applicable, a vehicle with manual transmission; personal vehicle delivery experience is also relevant. Familiarity with delivery driving, route driving, warehouse operations, loading and unloading, and material handling equipment. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting, follow safe lifting practices, and manage workplace weight-handling requirements. Strong driving habits, customer service skills, comfort using mobile devices, and knowledge of applicable DOT regulations.
