Maple Grove Welding Supply Store Location: Arcade, NY Position: Welding Supply Store Attendant Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Available Position Overview Maple Grove Welding Supply Store is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team! We are seeking a Welding Supply Store Attendant to assist with daily store operations, customer service, inventory management, and the sale of welding supplies, equipment, and industrial gases. The ideal candidate is organized, willing to learn, comfortable working independently, and enjoys helping customers find the products and solutions they need. Previous welding or industrial supply experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual! Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service. Assist customers with purchasing welding supplies, equipment, consumables, and industrial gases. Process sales transactions, customer orders, and payments accurately. Assist with receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory. Handle and organize welding gas cylinders while following proper safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment. Answer phone calls, assist with customer inquiries, and provide product information. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management. Assist with preparing customer orders and coordinating pickups and deliveries. Work with management and other team members to support daily operations. Perform additional duties as needed to keep store operations running efficiently. Qualifications & Requirements Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn point-of-sale and inventory systems. Attention to detail and good organizational skills. Ability to safely lift and move products and equipment as required. Willingness to learn about welding products, equipment, and industrial gases. Previous retail, warehouse, welding, or industrial supply experience preferred but not required.
