Weekend Trailer Technician

JIT-EX LLC is looking for a dependable Weekend Trailer Technician to join our maintenance team in Memphis, TN. This position is focused on keeping our trailer fleet safe, reliable, and road-ready through general repair and preventative maintenance. If you have experience working on trailers, brakes, tires, and general heavy-duty repairs and are looking for a consistent weekend schedule, we’d like to hear from you. Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time Work Location: On-site What You'll Do Diagnose and repair trailer brake systems and tires Perform general trailer repairs and driveline work Complete routine downlist repairs and maintenance items Inspect trailers and identify necessary repairs or safety concerns Document parts used and work completed on repair orders Work with the Bay Lead to prioritize and complete repairs Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and minimizing comebacks What We're Looking For Previous experience with trailer or heavy-duty equipment repair Strong knowledge of brakes, tires, and general mechanical repairs Ability to diagnose and complete repairs with minimal supervision Understanding of DOT and equipment safety requirements Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and stay productive Basic-to-intermediate hand tools, in accordance with company policy Why Join JIT-EX?
